Meet Our Team
Dr. Brockman
I graduated from UT Knoxville with a doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1982. After graduation, I worked with both small and large animals, and did relief work in Nashville for seven years. In August of 1989 I purchased Claughton Animal Clinic and renamed it Richland Animal Clinic. I became a certified veterinary acupuncturist in 1992. Since then, my interest of holistic and alternative medicine has grown. I am still excited about being fortunate enough to do what I love every day!

I moved to Tennessee after graduating from high school in California. Once in Tennessee, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in 1994 from Tennessee State University. I then went on to earn my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee, at Knoxville in 1998. I have been practicing veterinary medicine in the Nashville area since then, and have been apart of the Richland Animal Clinic family since 2008. When not practicing medicine, I am a full-time parent to two six year-old twins

I joined the Richland Animal Clinic family in September of 2004 while going to Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet for Health Sciences and Engineering at Pearl High. I have since graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration. I have held pretty much every position in our clinic. I started as a Kennel associate, moved to performing technician duties, and I am currently the Practice Manager/ Receptionist.

I attended the Columbia State Veterinary Technician Program and graduated in May 2008. Shortly after, I completed my national board exam and received my license to practice as a Veterinary Technician. After graduating, I worked at a veterinary clinic in Spring Hill for almost 2 years before coming to Richland Animal Clinic January of 2010. I am very passionate about animals and educating people on how to help their pets live long, happy lives. I live with my two furry babies Pirate (cat) and Zoe (dog) who love each other very much!

I have been at Richland since June of 2006, working in most every position since then. I mostly do reception and kennel, but also assist technicians and doctors when needed. I studied animal Science the past three years at MTSU, and I am now a part of the Veterinary Technician Program at Columbia State. At the end of the program I hope to graduate and receive my license to practice as a Veterinary Technician. I have a pit-bull that I rescued, named Gucci and a snake, Kevin.

Kaitlyn
I have been working at Richland since September of 2010. I enjoy working
here because I love animals and I am constantly learning new things
about them! I work in the kennel so if you board your pets I’ll most
likely be taking care of them! They’ll be well taken care of, I promise!
